Mancora has a dry and tropical climate with temperatures ranging from 78°F to 95°F in the hottest months, between December and April, and an almost permanent sunshine. It is this unique climate in Peru that makes Mancora and its surroundings an ideal destination to enjoy all year round beautiful beaches and a particularly hot water.
But Mancora’s beaches are not only known for their mild temperatures, but also for having perfect waves and a regular wind 9 months on 12, from April to December. This combination makes it a favored spot for surfers of all levels, but also a place of ideal conditions for kitesurfing.
On top of magical coastal landscapes, it is easy to travel around and discover fishing villages, unique diving, surfing and kitesurfing spots (Organos, Cabo Blanco, Punta Sal, Lobitos, Zorritos, etc.), but also to watch whales.
Indeed, marine fauna is incredibly rich because of the crossing of two currents: the Humboldt Current and El Nino. This explains the wide variety of fish and seafood that can be found in northern Peru. There is the famous Peruvian Ceviche, red tuna, swordfish, grouper fish and much more other fresh seafood products that will make you discover unique flavors.
